Description
10/13/26 - This is an excellent example of a scarce Walther PPK Party Leader holster manufactured in the late 1930's by AKAH. The light brown leather on this holster is in excellent condition with with very little color loss and all of the leather has remained sturdy yet pliable. There are minor hints of high-edge wear on the finish, primarily on the muzzle of the holster. There is one small spot of color loss on the top flap to the bottom right of the PL Eagle, which appears to be where the corner of the spare magazine would sit. There are a few areas of indentations in the leather, primarily on the right of the top flap and near the muzzle on both sides, that appear to be from a pointy object pressing against the holster. The remainder of the leather on the front and back has some scarce line indentations sparsely present, though they do not penetrate the exterior finish. The leather belt loop on the back of the holster shows some wear, primarily towards the top left corner of the loop. The top flap bears a crisp, deeply struck Party Leader eagle emblem just above the aluminum closure strap knob. Below the excellent condition closure strap is the proper "DRGM / AKAH" maker's mark. On the interior of the holster underneath the top flap, the correct "Walther PPK" designation ink stamp is still present and legible. All of the stitching on this holster is in excellent condition with no signs of any ripping or tearing. There are no missing stitches and the thread has retained its beautiful light color. Overall this is an excellent PPK Party Leader holster.
