Description
9/17/26 - This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Model 1905 Target Model manufactured in the 1910's. The gun's serial number has it falling within the 3rd change range. The revolver is all matching. This S&W has retained about 96% of its original finish with minor high edge / muzzle wear, a roll mark on the cylinder, and some light spotty wear on the back strap. There is nice case hardening over the hammer and trigger. The grips are original and correct for a 3rd change Model 1905. There are no signs of chips or cracks, but the S&W medallions are dull. The bore is bright with a nice mirror finish. The barrel is 6" long.
