Description
3/6/26 - This is an excellent example of a scarce, original Smith & Wesson Triple Lock, Hand Ejector, 1st Model revolver. Considered by many, including Elmer Keith, to be the finest revolver ever made. Its popular name refers to its extra (third) locking lug on the cylinder crane. This one is matching and chambered in .44 Special. It has retained about 96% of its original high polish bluing. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of spotty wear around the muzzle and front sight, but there is also very minor high edge wear and a roll mark on the cylinder. One tiny dot of discoloration on the right side of the barrel. Fitted with very nice checkered wood grips. Mint bore.
