Description
6/23/26 - This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Victory revolver issued to the US Navy in 1945. It is all matching, the top strap has a flaming bomb and "US Property" marking, and there is a "P" proof on the left side of the frame. The “SV” prefix was introduced to indicate the addition of an improved hammer block safety system. It comes with a S&W factory letter that confirms this gun was shipped to the US Navy on January 31, 1945. The gun itself has retained about 96-97% of its original parkerized finish with general high edge wear, muzzle wear (mostly on the left side), and a roll mark on the cylinder. Excellent case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Fitted with mint wood grips - the right side is numbered and matching. Mint bore.
