3/25/21 - This is an excellent example of a Springfield M1 Garand issued to the US military in 1944. Barrel is dated 1944. There is a "P" proof on the stock but no cartouche. The wrist has a navy-style rack number button. The gun also comes with a period-correct canvas sling. The gun has retained most of its finish - there are just some light scuffs on the barrel. The stock is excellent except for some very light dings and dents here and there. Minty bore. Cleaning kit in the bore.
