Description
07/08/26 - For sale is a very early Colt SP1 made in 1964. The rifle is in fantastic condition with a dark phosphate finish throughout with minimal wear. The lower receiver is the early Type 1 slab side with the + mark below the ejection port and a roll pin behind the rear takedown pin. The upper and bolt have no forward assist features. The bore is very bright with strong rifling. The muzzle has the correct 3-prong A1 Flash hider. The barrel is a 20" pencil profile. There is an M stamp under the front sight post on the barrel. The stock does not have a trap door for storage. Sling loops secured by the original roll pin. The rifle comes with the original black sling and a Colt Historian Letter. The letter notes the rifle was shipped in September 28, 1964 to "The Gun Room of Woodland Hills, California.
