9/24/26 - This is an excellent, very rare Mauser Luger tool that aligns most with the Army and Navy G Date Lugers. The face of the tool bears an Eagle/211 proof mark in excellent condition, as photo'd. The E/211 variation was only produced in 1935. These Mauser Luger tools were made of hardened spring steel. The finish is in excellent condition with most finish loss being present on the high-edges and near the narrow tip of the tool. There are some light surface striations on the back of the tool from use, as well as one line on the front of the tool, though there is no finish loss from these marks. Overall an excellent example of a rare Eagle/211 Luger tool.
