10/24/19 - This is a terrific example of a documented Walther PP variation from the very tail end of World War II. This is a 'GI mismatch' with no slide legend on left side, and 'ac' proof on right. The most commonly seen and cited Walther serial chart on the internet has the last PP serial at 390xxx, and this one is 391xxx, so one of the final Walther PPs ever produced for the war. It has about 98% of the original finish with minor thinning on high points and back strap. There are also some casting defects on the right side of the slide. Mint bore and excellent wood grips.
