Description
5/27/26 - This is an excellent example of a Steyr Hahn M1912 that was issued to the Austro-Hungarian military during WWI and was later reworked by Mauser for use by the German police during WW2. The Steyr Hahn 1912 was manufactured in Imperial Austria, but after the 1938 German occupation of Austria some were converted to 9mm Luger. They were stamped '08' to indicate this conversion, E/N proofed, and accepted with the German Police Eagle/L. The slide is dated 1919 with an Austrian proof and 1919 date on the right side of the trigger guard. The gun's original finish rates about 96-97% with very minor muzzle wear, an area of wear on the front strap, and a few tiny handling marks here and there. Fitted with excellent checkered wood grips. Mint bore.
