Description
10/19/26 - This is an excellent example of a British Enfield No. 2 Mk I** revolver issued to the British military in 1943, during WWII. The Mk I** was a 1942 wartime simplification of the double-action-only, spurless-hammer Mk I*, made to speed production while Britain rearmed. It is all matching and dated 1943, and it is chambered in .38 caliber (.38 S&W). It comes as a rig with a reproduction holster. The original dull wartime finish rates about 95%, with general minor high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with correct black bakelite grips, which show light grinding marks along the bottom edges. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling. A crisp, all-matching WWII British service revolver in excellent condition.
