Description

7/28/23 - This is an extremely rare Mauser Banner Luger from 1938, with Eagle/K police inspection stamp on receiver. This the is the rarest of all the police Mauser Banner Lugers, with only 275 produced! And not only that, but this one is only 3 digits after the earliest reported serial, so nearly the first one ever issued! All numbers on the pistol match, including the grips and magazine. The bluing rates at around 90% but there is some cold blue touch up on the sideplate, and the sideplate/muzzle account for most of the wear. Mint bore. Nice grips with minor handling wear but no chips.
