Description

10/31/19 - This is a fantastic example of an original and matching Mauser K98 from 1945. The rifle has all matching numbers, and is typical for a late-war K98 with most parts unnumbered. The receiver and bolt assembly are the only numbered parts. The finish on the rifle is fantastic, with blued barrel/receiver/bands but phosphate trigger assembly and partially phosphated bolt assembly. There is only minimal finish loss to metal parts and no major areas of wear. Stock is in terrific condition with sharp waffenamt and 'H' for Heer Army on the right side. Bore has strong rifling but frost throughout and could use a thorough cleaning.
