SOLD - Fantastic, Rare NSKK Walther PP

Description

8/12/19 - This is an excellent, rare Walther PP from the WW2 era.  It is NSKK marked and issued, which was the designated official transportation branch of the NSDAP.  There were about 3,500 such pistols issued, and ~100 reported serials. This pistol is all original and correct with about 95-96% blue remaining.  The majority of the finish loss is found on the front strap and trigger guard, with minor muzzle and high edge wear on the slide.  Excellent grips and magazine.  Crown/N proofs on slide and frame.  Excellent bore.

From Axis Pistols: "In 1930, the NSKK was designated the official transportation branch of the NSDAP.  Its primary mission was to meet all the transportation needs of the Nazi Party.  Motorization won Germany for the NSDAP and with it they expected to conquer the world.  At the outbreak of World War II, the NSKK assumed important military transportation responsibilities.  By 1943, almost all of the NSKK was on active service either with the Army or the Waffen SS."
