Description
11/18/25 - This is a M38 Carcano that was supplied to Finland during the Winter War. Finland was in need of arms and accepted arms from throughout Europe like the Swedish M96 Mauser, Japanese Arisaka from England, and the M38 Carcano from Italy. The stock is marked with the Terni Arsenal stamp along with a serial number. The stock was sanded and refinished though, so the numbering is almost illegible (appears to be mismatched though). The receiver is stamped with the serial number, the SA Finnish Army stamp, and the manufacture year. The metal parts have lost the majority of their bluing with light brown patina throughout. Excellent bore.
