Description
4/16/26 - This is a very nice example of a first-generation Colt Single Action Army revolver, manufactured in 1906. It is chambered in .45 Colt with a 5.5" barrel. All matching. This particular first-gen example is in better condition than most you'll see, retaining roughly 80% of its original finish. The barrel, cylinder, and grip straps are blued, and the frame is case-hardened. The majority of the actual finish loss is on the grip straps, but there is also muzzle wear, general high edge wear, roll marks on the cylinder, and some light freckling and pin-pricking on the frame. Fitted with period-correct black hard rubber grips - some dulling in the checkering around the edges. Minty bore. Fully functional with a smooth action.
