Description
6/5/26 - This is a first-generation Colt Single Action Army revolver, manufactured in 1885 and chambered in .45 Colt. It is technically all-matching, but all of the serial numbers have been engraved and reapplied. In fact, the same can be said for virtually all of the markings on the gun. The barrel is likely a later replacement. It is fitted with engraved steer head grips that are signed "DF". We can't say for sure if they're made of real ivory. The entire gun has been refinished. Much of it is covered in cold blue, so there is noticeable splotchy discoloration throughout. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling. Fully functional. This is an antique, so no FFL is required.
