Description
7/20/26 - This is a nice example of a German EM-GE Model 6 6 mm blank-firing starter pistol, identified by the accompanying EM-GE instruction sheet and the pistol’s visible “Germany” marking. The cream plastic grip panels are checkered and fitted with round “MODELL 6” medallions, and the manual describes the pistol as a “Starting Pistol Mod. 6” with “Cal. 6 mm, 6-shot magazine.” Included are the EM-GE instruction booklet, multilingual pink warning insert, DeMain Enterprises shipping card, one loose star-crimped blank cartridge, and a black/red Armi Galesi box.
The pistol retains most of its glossy black finish, with scattered fine scratches, light finish disturbance along the muzzle/front edges, rubs on exposed pins and screw heads, and handling wear on the trigger guard and lower frame. The cream grips show age yellowing, light staining, and darker discoloration around the grip screw, but no obvious cracks are visible. The Galesi box shows edge wear, scuffing, and rubs to the exterior, with a clean red interior marked “ARMI GALESI / COLLEBEATO BRESCIA / ITALIA.” Note: the Galesi box and Italian 6.35 proof card appear mismatched to the EM-GE 6 mm starter pistol. Bore is excellent with minor signs of use. This is not as firearm, so no licensing is required.
