Description
10/29/26 - This is a parts kit of a 1917 M.G. 08/15 used by the Imperial German Army during WWI, manufactured at the Spandau arsenal. The top cover is stamped "3409 M.G.08/15 Gwf. Spandau 1917". The parts kit retains a well-aged bluing, but there are numerous areas of old surface rust, as well as pockets of dirt and storage dust. The barrel jacket has the most surface rust. The stock has similar storage dirt and dust to the rest of the gun. The surface has many handling marks, but no cracks or breaks. There is a storage opening at the end with no cover. The bore is bright with good rifling. Most of the parts within this kit have matching numbers, the barrel is not serialized. Stamped S&S for Sauer & Sohn on the breech block, along with 7,91 for bore measurement and KR for steel quality. Stamped "17" for 1917. A mostly matching 1917 Spandau MG 08/15 kit with plenty of WWI Imperial German character.
