Description
6/25/26 - This is a nice example of a Hungarian Frommer Stop Variation Three, issued to the Imperial German military during WWI. It is matching and correct with an Imperial German military proof on the left side of the trigger guard. This gun comes from the collection of Jan Still and comes with a signed COA from the Still family. It is also photographed and featured on Pg. 234 of Still's "Central Powers Pistols" book. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. There is significant finish loss on the grip safety, dulling on the front strap, somewhat spotty wear along the round edges of both sides of the frame, muzzle wear, and a couple of spots of oxidation and light pitting on the right side of the muzzle and right side of the frame. Fitted with correct wood grips and comes with one proper magazine. The bore has good rifling with just light pin-pricking throughout.
