6/5/26- For sale is a copy of "Geschichte des Deutschen Volkes", a German propaganda and history book from 1940. The book is a medium sized paperback and the title translates to "History of the German People". The book is the third volume and covers the period from the beginning of WWI to the invasion of Poland in September 1939. The cover and interior pages have light wear but no serious damage or tearing. The book is written in the traditional antique German font but is still readable by translation apps. The book was published in 1940 and represents a nationalist version of history suitable to that period in German life. One front page appears removed, possibly due to a picture or symbolism related to the Nazis. Overall in very good condition.
