Description
11/17/25 - This is an absolutely gorgeous example of a Mauser Banner Luger issued to the German police force in 1939. All numbers are matching, has the proper police "Eagle L" proof on the right side of the slide, and has an installed police sear safety. It comes as a rig with two original matching-numbered magazines, an un-marked tool, and a 1939-dated police holster. The holster is in minty condition, but there looks like there was a pin or badge on the top flap that has been removed (two small holes). There is a name very lightly scratched on the back and a very clear ink stamp on the inside. The gun itself is stunning and has retained nearly all of its original finish. Just the slightest hints of high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with mint un-numbered wood grips. Mint bore. It comes with the original copy of the WW2 Mailing Certificate that lists Dean T. Wall as the soldier who sent it home. It also lists this gun by serial number and states it was "taken from wehrmacht forces before V-E day".
