3/18/26 - This is gorgeous example of an engraved 2nd Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver from 1959. It has a 7.5 inch barrel and is chambered in .44 Special. The entire gun is covered in extremely detailed, intricate, and deep floral scrollwork. There are also some gold band accents and a gold engraved head of what appears to be a bobcat. There is an engraved and gold-accented "P" at the top of the back strap. We are not sure if this work was done at the factory, but it was clearly done by a master engraver. There is no signature that we can see. Paired really nicely with beautiful real ivory grips. The blued finish is beautiful with no signs of wear or use. The bore has good rifling, but there is obvious spotty oxidation throughout. Fully functional. Comes with a nice wood presentation case.
