8/11/26 - Comes from the collection of Tom Whiteman. Will include a COA. This is an absolutely gorgeous example of an extraordinarily rare Mauser Banner Grip Safety Commercial Luger from 1936. The Mauser Banner grip safety Commercial model was made specifically for commercial sales. This model is sometimes referred to as the 1934/06 Mauser Commercial, owing to the 1906 feature pattern of no stock lug and a grip safety. It has the proper Mauser banner logo on the toggle and "Eagle N" proofs. Chambered in .30 Luger. Only about 100 of this variation were made. This particular gun has retained essentially all of its finish with very nice straw-coloring and fire-bluing on the small parts. Comes with a blank aluminum bottom magazine. It also comes with a more modern wood presentation case. Mint wood grips. Factory-new bore.
