11/21/23 - Up for listing is an immaculate condition Swedish M38 Mauser chambered in 6.5x55 made in 1942. The rifle looks fresh from the arsenal and did not undergo the refurbishment that threaded the barrels for blank fire training adapters. The rifle retains a deep bluing with some scratches on the barrel and edgewear on other parts. The rifle is matching for a Husqvarna-made M38 and matches on the receiver, bolt, and buttplate. The bore is mirror bright with sharp rifling. The stock has some small dents but is also in great condition.
