4/8/26 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Model C96 issued to the Imperial German military during WWI. It is all matching with the proper Imperial proof on the right side of the slide. It comes as a complete rig with an Imperial-proofed and matching-numbered stock, 1916-dated leather harness (with strap), cleaning rod, and spare magazine spring. The stock shows a noticeable crack on one side, and the belt loops are missing from the back of the holster. The gun's original finish rates about 90% with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, a spot of scratchy wear on the left side of the frame, and a series of tiny dings on the front edge of the frame. Fitted with original matching-numbered grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. Tiny import mark on inside the channel of the stock slot.
