Description

1/20/20 - This is an early German Ern Imperial Fighting / Boot Knife. This blade is an excellent example with no sharpening or abuse. Hilt is stamped "RASIERMESSER-FABRIK" and the Reverse "ERN WALD.RHEINL." Proofed with a king's head under a crown. Oak grip plates are in minty condition with very little use wear. Blade is in excellent condition. It retains it's original shape and edge with no evidence of sharpening. Slight bend in the tip, but not very noticeable. Scabbard is black with a nice finish. Leather strap is in great shape with a functional snap. Measures 11-3/8" long in scabbard. Knife measurements are a little over 10-3/4" long. Blade is 5-3/4" long
