Description

12/1/21 - This is an interesting Colt M1908 pocket hammerless pistol that was part of a small contract order by the NYPD for their detectives. Over 800 of these pistols were ordered from 1913-14, and this one is marked 'P.D. N.Y. No. 94' on right side frame. The finish is original but obviously has seen better days. It's thinning throughout and has some pitting on the grip safety and both sides of the slide. Bore is fairly strong with a little freckling and frost through the grooves. The early, original grips have smoothing on both sides but no cracks. Original magazine that is marked CALIBRE .380 on the base.
