Description
1/22/26 - This is a late-WW2 Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It is United States Property marked, has the proper "FJA" inspector initials, and has a military cross-canon cartouche. Fitted with a proper "HS" marked High Standard barrel. It comes as a rig with a reproduction magazine and an excellent US-marked Enger-Kress tan leather shoulder holster. The gun has a re-parkerized finish and shows very little actual finish loss. There is just very minor high edge wear and very light surface scuffs here and there. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips with a "21" rack number painted on the right grip. The bore has decent rifling, but there is noticeable scratching throughout.
