Description
7/31/20 - This is a Japanese Arisaka Type 38 Cavalry Carbine Rifle, made during the WW2-era. It was manufactured in the Nagoya Arsenal. The mum stamp is completely in tact. This is one of the nicest examples we've offered as it relates to the condition of the metal. The gun has retained almost all of its original bluing. There are areas of very light pin-pricking here and there. The floor plate has visible brown patina. The parts are matching. The stock is in good condition but appears to have been lightly sanded. The initials "RD" were scratched into the right side of the butt stock. There is a very small crack on the right side, just in front of the bolt. It comes with a rare original rubberized canvas sling. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting in the grooves.Specifications
