9/22/26 - This is a very nice late WW2 Japanese NCO sword with scabbard. there are arsenal marks on the blade and on the cross guard. The blade is in excellent shape. It has just the slightest bit of corrosion in spots but is has a nice polished finish overall. The edge has no knicks in it and has no evidence of sharpening. A serial/batch number on the right side of the blades reads 116400. The scabbard is numbered at the throat and matches the sword. The scabbard is in excellent shape with most of its paint remaining. There are no dents or cracks.
