Description

2/18/26- For sale is a Japanese Type 30 bayonet. The bayonet was manufactured by Matsushita Kinzoku, commonly known as National Denki, and is a variation O with a buffed blade, corresponding to the Labar book LB-114. The blade has no fuller and appears buffed. There are a few spots of patina or surface rust. The blade has the Tokyo arsenal inspection mark and the Matsushita manufacturer mark. The crossguard is flat. The wood grips wrap around the front of the handle and have no major scrapes or cracking. The pommel has a serial number with two Japanese characters and then 38861. The scabbard has patina and some spots of surface rust but appears to maintain most of its original blued finish and has no serious dents or scrapes. Overall in very good condition.
