Description

2/18/26- For sale is a Japanese Type 30 bayonet. The bayonet is a variation D, produced by Toyoda Automatic Loom Works, and referenced under category LB-143 in Labar's "Bayonets of Japan" book. The book rates the rarity as 2/10. The blade has most of the original bluing with some scabbard wear and typical loss of finish at the tip of the blade. The blade appears to have been sharpened at some point. The blade has the Toyoda manufacturer mark and the Nagoya district inspection mark. The wooden handle has mild wear and some scratching but no deep scrapes or cracking. The metal scabbard maintains most of the original bluing with light wear and patina but no serious damage or dents. Overall in very good condition.
