SOLD - TALW Type 30 Bayonet (KW052824-3)

Description

6/5/24 - This is an original WW2 wartime variation Japanese Type 30 Bayonet. The bayonet is cited in Labar's book as LB-144 Variation K. The bayonet features a squared, flat pommel and straight cross guard. These have dark surface patina throughout and natural aging. The top of the pommel is serial numbered. The wood handle is two piece contoured style with 2 rivets. The blade is blued and fullered with mild thinning and light finish loss throughout. Some dark spots of patina as well, but no rust or pitting. The edge is sharpened but clean with no nicks or dings. Comes with a black painted cone-tipped scabbard. Great overall condition.
