Description
10/06/26 - For sale is a JP Sauer (ce) K98k made in 1943. The bluing is well worn, and the finish is turning a mixture of dark grey and brown patina. The front of the receiver shows bare metal from wear. The magazine floor plate and trigger guard have almost all of their finish worn away. The stock has a duffle cut repair behind the rear barrel band, with a crack between the repair and the barrel band. There are also multiple cracks at the wrist: two behind the trigger guard and one on top wrapping around the upper tang. The bore is bright with good rifling. The handguard is mismatched. The rear barrel band is marked 1476 instead of 1456, so it is possibly a factory error. The rifle has matching numbers on the following parts:
- Receiver
- Bolt
- Safety
- Cocking Piece
- Firing Pin
- Trigger Assembly
- Bolt Stop
- Stock
- Magazine Floor Plate
- Trigger Guard
- Rear Sight Assembly
- Front Barrel Band
