07/23/2024 - For sale is a Type 38 Arisaka made at the Kokura Arsenal. The rifle is in good condition overall but the Imperial Mum has been ground away. The metal retains a nice bluing but there are freckling of corrosion throughout. The bolt takedown lever also has some pitting on it. The stock is in great condition with no cracks or breaks with typical handling marks. The bore is fairly bright but the rifling at the muzzle is worn. The rifle has a mismatched extractor and the firing pin and nose cap are unnumbered.
