08/27/26 - For sale is a Japanese Type 99 Arisaka, 22nd Series made by Kokura during WW2. The rifle is in good shape with a nice blued finish on the receiver. The barrel shows oxidation and browning from age. There are prickling of shallow surface pitting on the bottom of the barrel. The stock various handling marks, but no cracks or breaks. The bore is bright with good rifling. Rifle has a matching serial on the bayonet lug & bolt body, but the safety & firing pin are mismatched. The receiver retains a full mum. The cleaning rod is absent.
