06/18/2024 - For sale is a 22nd series Type 99 Arisaka made at the Kokura arsenal during WW2. This rifle comes packaged with a bring back crate with the GI's address and his Dog Tags. The rifle is in good condition overall with the old bluing still visible but has been browning with age. The stock is in typical war time condition with dings and scratches from use. The bore is bright with great rifling. The rifle is matching on the receiver and nose cap but the bolt does not. The dust cover, monopod, and muzzle cover are reproductions and the monopod does not fold out. The receiver still has the untouched Imperial Mum. The rifle comes with a Type 30 Bayonet produced by Kokura and has a reproduction frog. The GI's dog tag is in a small box with the rifle.
