SOLD - Early Kriegsmarine Mauser Holster

2/28/24 - This is a rare variation Kriegsmarine proofed Mauser holster from WW2. The holster comes from the John James Collection, a well known and once-avid collector of WW2 holsters and memorabilia. This holster is desirable due to the early style Gothic "M" found on the Kriegsmarine Eagle/M proof stamp on the back leather. The eagle is faded and faint, yet still visible with the "m" being more visible. This is likely due to the position of the stamp on the back toe of the holster. The holster is in great overall condition with soft, pliable leather that shows normal wear and use. Fairly clean interior leather as well. The stitching is all original and in great shape, despite a few missing stitches on the bottom left corner of the belt loop. This doesn't affect function and the belt loop is still very secure.
