Description
3/22/24 - This is a Vietnam era "theatre made" knuckle knife. This knife would have left the factory as an M7 bayonet for use with the M16 rifle. However GI's commonly created their own "theatre weapons" out of m7 bayonets during Vietnam and throughout the 1980's. An aluminum, one-piece handle with knuckle guards was added, and the blade was modified with a sawback on the spine and a highly-sharpened edge. Comes with an original M8A1 scabbard. A very interesting and somewhat unique US fighting knife. Most likely made during Vietnam.Specifications
