SOLD - French Lebel M1886 Spike Bayonet (KW052824-11)

6/5/24 - This is an original WW1 era French Lebel M1886 Spike bayonet. The bayonet comes with an original metal ball-tipped scabbard. The bayonet blade measures 20.5 inches, and overall length is 25.25 inches. The blade has spotty surface oxidation throughout but no rust or major issues. The hooked quillion is serial numbered and proof stamped. Functional push-button release and excellent aluminum alloy handle. The scabbard has original blued finish with light finish loss, thinning, and mild patina throughout. Serial numbered on the top band near the mouth, but the numbers do not match. Great overall condition with no notable issues.
