6/19/24 - This is an original WW2 Arisaka Type 30 Bayonet. The bayonet is cited in Labar's book: LB-126 Variation D. The bayonet features a blued, fullered blade that's in near-excellent condition. Light finish loss and typical scabbard rub wear. A cleanly sharpened edge with no noteworthy flaws or issues. Straight crossguard and bird's head pommel are missing most of the original finish and have light surface patina throughout. The top of the pommel is serial numbered as shown. 2 piece contoured wood grips with screws and washers. Comes with a metal ball-tipped scabbard that has a few minor dents and dings, and dark surface patina throughout.
