Description
11/18/25 - This is a very nice example of a last-ditch Japanese Arisaka Type 99 rifle from 1945. It is all matching with a partial Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. It has the proper late-war features, such as peep-style rear sight, rough machining, and wood butt plate. There is a ground area of the front barrel band where it appears the bayo lug was removed. There is very little actual finish loss on the metal parts, but there is spotty discoloration on the metal parts that almost looks like heat-blistered wood finish. Very nice wood furniture with minimal wear. Excellent shiny bore.
