Description
9/22/21 - This is an interesting and cool Type 99 Arisaka that was made by Toyo Kogyo (Oriental Manufacturing Company; today it is Mazda), which is located in Hiroshima. The plant, supervised by Kokura Arsenal, survived the A-bomb only because it was located outside the city behind a large hill. It is a very early series 35 production made in 1940-41. It comes with a dust cover but technically would not have left the factory with one. The finish is excellent overall but the mum has been ground and the numbers are mismatched. Bore is excellent. Stock is also in great shape.Specifications
