Description
10/16/26 - This is a late-war 1945 Spreewerk P38 rig. It was manufactured in February of 1945, as indicated by the "z" suffix to the serial number. The gun is all matching and has the proper Eagle 88 military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 94-95% of its finish, with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and an area of wear on the left side of the barrel. There is what appears to be a small casting flaw on the right side of the muzzle, which is typical for these late-war guns. Fitted with period-correct reddish particle grips. The decocker is functional. The bore rates an 8/10, with strong rifling and minor frosting in the grooves. It comes as a rig with one period-correct "jvd" magazine, one post-war P38 magazine, and a reproduction black leather holster.
