Description
3/2/26 - This is a last-ditch assembled Radom Vis. In the last couple of months of WW2 the Radom factory was attacked and severely damaged, shifting production to other plants. A number of A and B-block pistols were assembled that match the finish and condition of the very last K-block pistols. They show wood grips, early slide and frame stamps, but are also marked with the late war Eagle/623 stamps like the K-blocks. These late war pistols often show very poor finishes and workmanship. It is thought that these were rejected frames and slides from earlier production that were assembled in an effort to get every available gun to the front. This particular pistol has the later wood Eagle/623 stamped grips, the Eagle/623 stamped frame and slide. It also exhibits very noticeable casting flaws in the frame. The barrel, slide and frame are all matching numbers. The finish was poorly applied and is very splotchy, on the slide in particular. Minty bore. Comes with a wartime, unmarked magazine and a correct, very good original holster.
