Description
5/26/26 - This is a late-war example of an Ithaca 1911A1 from CMP that was manufactured in 1945. The finish on this 1911A1 has retained about 80% of its original finish with most loss existing as muzzle wear and high-edge wear. There is also a rectangular wear pattern on the top of the slide in front of the rear sight, and some rough dings on the sides of the trigger guard. This 1911A1 bears the period-correct 'FJA' US Military Inspectors mark on the left side of the frame behind the trigger. It has an original High Standard barrel with a bright bore and strong rifling. Comes fitted with period-correct brown plastic grips with no signs of chips or cracks. Comes with a MecGar magazine. This firearm also comes with a CMP hard shell case, along with a CMP Certificate of Authenticity, manual, barrel flag, and pistol lock.
