Description
05/13/2024 - For sale is a late war Arisaka Type 99 made at the Nagoya Arsenal towards the end of the war. The 11th Series by Nagoya is when they started transitioning from standard sling mounts to rope hole slings. This example is in a clean overall 90% condition with a mix of bluing and patina on the metal. The stock has been heavily sanded and refinished. There is a crack behind the trigger guard on both sides going past the pistol grip. The receiver retains a full untouched Imperial Mum. The bore is dark but has visible rifling. The stock is constructed with a 3 piece stock (correct for late war) but the forestock is loose. The rifle comes with a National Denki marked straight crossguard bayonet.Specifications
