Description
5/27/26 - This is a late-war example of a Remington 1911A1 with the GI replacement slide. The firearm was manufactured in 1945, and has since received a replacement barrel and slide. This 1911A1 has retained about 80% of its original finish, with most loss existing as high-edge wear and muzzle wear. There are also areas of finish loss under the barrel and on the trigger guard and some light scratching on the top left and right sides of the slide. The replacement barrel has a bright finish with strong, mirrored rifling throughout. This Remington is fitted with period-correct brown plastic grip panels which show no signs of chips or cracks, and the right panel is marked "E-19". Comes with a MecGar magazine. Mechanically sound. Comes with a CMP hard shell case, along with a CMP Certificate of Authenticity, manual, barrel flag, and pistol lock.
