Description
11/3/20 - This is an excellent example of a Spreewerk P.38 that was issued to the Nazi military near the end of the war, in April of 1945 (the serial number has a "b" prefix). The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" Nazi military acceptance proofs. It is fully functional, including the de-cocker. The gun is a Russian capture, as evidenced by the "X" on the slide. The gun and magazine have an even dark finish, indicating they were likely "Russian dipped". There is almost no wear in the finish, but there is an area of discoloration on the right side of the slide. It comes with excellent period-correct grips and a period-correct "jvd" magazine. The bore is minty - shiny with strong rifling.Specifications
