Description
1/4/21 - This is a nice example of a Walther PPK that was issued to the Nazi military in 1944. What makes this one unique is its duraluminum frame. Toward the end of the war, the Nazis were experimenting with faster and cheaper ways of making guns. One of the things they tried was making the frames out of aluminum. This one is all matching and has "Eagle N" commercial proofs. It has retained about 85% of its original finish. There is spotty wear around the muzzle, high edges, and sides and top of the slide. There are a couple of dings and thinning on the front strap. It comes with an excellent late-war grip with a small crack on the left side. Also comes with a period-correct magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.Specifications
